I had bigger expectations for this project but the data just didn’t seem to allow for everything I visualized in my head. I cut it down to what I really did well in this adventure. I did, however, learn several key things to advance my knowledge:
1. Experience with slicers and how to apply them to multiple pages.
2. Created new visuals and imported new visualizations from power BI.
3. Relationship building across 16 data tables!
4. Building a calendar lookup table from scratch (shout out to the Maven Analytics community for their help!)
5. You can build everything out in your head, but if the data isn’t there, it’s not going to work.
